What type of patients do you treat?
The office treats patients with all types of substance use disorders including both opioid and alcohol use disorders. In addition, we see patients for one time consultations, which are often referred from other physicians.
We are also able to assess patients who are referred through an Employee Assistance Program, or patients who require evaluation through their professional licensing board. Please note, length of time for evaluation/treatment will vary and a one-time visit for evaluation for clearance is not available.
We often see patients stepping down from a residential treatment facility, or an intensive outpatient program, since it is recommended that care be continued in an outpatient setting.
Dr. Hamauei is also able to treat pregnant patients.
How it works
It starts with a phone call and a few questions to make sure our treatment options are a good fit for you. If so, an appointment is scheduled as soon as possible. Dr. Hamauei creates a customized treatment plan for each patient.
